Denver passed a law that law-bidding citizens are no longer allowed to carry concealed in public buildings or public parks. We can't even protect oursleves or our families in public! Did you notice I said "law bidding" and that's because in order for someone to carry concealed, they have to pass a background check from CBI and the FBI before receiving their permit. Now that the non bidding citzens are aware, you can bet there will be an increase in building and Park shootings. Like the schools, the bad guy now knows there will be no weapons, like the teachers and students, innocent people will not have a way to fight back.  

Do you know that 31.1% of all gun owners has used their firearm in self defense at least once, “even if it was not fired or displayed” (not including law enforcement, security, or military service). Projecting this 31.1% data out to all gun owners would mean that roughly 25.3 million adults have used a firearm to stop a crime or protect themselves at least once.

Bad people are never going away. Criminals, aren't going to abide by the laws that only "law-bidding" citizens abide by. If we're being retricted to the point that we can't defend ourselves and loved ones in public, does that mean we will have a cop on every street corner, guards protecting our children in public parks? No, we will be left to depend on people who will not be around for at least five minutes after making a call for help.

We're all aware the damage a 30 round magazine can do in a matter of seconds, YES, 30-round magazine, because laws do not apply to criminals.
